Canadian Classics Cigarettes: Original and Silver

Canadian Classics cigarettes are one of the best-known names in native smokes: King Size, clean-burning, and made with Canadian tobacco on First Nations land. We carry both blends, Original and Silver, by the carton of 200.

The Canadian Classics line-up

Canadian Classics keeps it to two blends. Both are King Size, with 20 cigarettes to a pack and 10 packs to a carton.

Blend Strength Nicotine
Canadian Classics Original Medium, full-bodied 0.9 mg per cigarette
Canadian Classics Silver Mild to medium 0.7 mg per cigarette

Taste and strength

Canadian Classics Original

Original is the full-bodied blend. The taste is rich and slightly earthy, with a natural tobacco edge and a smooth draw. It burns slow and even, so one cigarette lasts longer than a lighter smoke. The finish is noticeable, clean, and gone quickly. A dense filter takes the edge off without muting the flavour.

At 0.9 mg of nicotine per cigarette, Original sits at the stronger end of our shelf without turning harsh. If you’re switching from Player’s Original or du Maurier Regular, start here.

Canadian Classics Silver

Silver is the lighter one. It’s mellow and clean, with a touch of natural sweetness and almost no aftertaste. The burn stays even from the first pull to the filter.

At 0.7 mg, Silver suits you if you want to cut down on strength without changing brands. It still tastes like tobacco.

Canadian Classics Original vs Silver

Same brand, same King Size format, same carton of 200. The difference is strength and body. Pick Original for a bolder smoke with a longer finish. Pick Silver for a smoother draw that’s easier to smoke all day.

Canadian Classics price and quantity discounts

You’ll find today’s Canadian Classics price on each product page and on our cigarette price list. We keep the numbers there so they stay current.

The price per carton drops as your order grows: at 3 cartons, again at 12, and again at 36. The quantity table on each product page shows every break. Orders over $98 ship free anywhere in Canada, and we dispatch the same day when you order before 11:00.

How Canadian Classics compares

Canadian Classics vs Canadian

The names are close, but these are two different brands. Canadian comes in Lights, Full and Menthol. Canadian Full is the strongest of the lot at 1.1 mg, ahead of Classics Original at 0.9 mg. Canadian Lights and Classics Silver match at 0.7 mg. If you want menthol, Canadian is the brand that has it.

Canadian Classics vs Elite

Elite runs lighter across the board: Elite Full is 0.8 mg and Elite Lights is 0.6 mg. If Classics Original feels like a lot, Elite Full is a step down in strength that keeps a bold, rich taste.

Who Canadian Classics suits

  • You smoke every day and want the same taste in every pack
  • You’re moving from a commercial brand and want something familiar
  • You want a full-bodied blend and a lighter one from the same brand

Original is the full-bodied blend, rich and slightly earthy with a longer finish. Silver is milder, with a smoother draw and a light, clean finish.

Original has 0.9 mg of nicotine per cigarette, which makes it medium strength. Silver has 0.7 mg and is mild to medium.
